Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on regular medication that has been agreed by your doctor, you can request further medication by:

  • Calling in at the surgery and leaving your request either in the red box in the foyer or, if the surgery is closed, in the post box.
  • Online via the link at the top of this page. Please contact reception to register for Patient Access where you will be able to order your repeat medication.
  • Written Request (please enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you wish a prescription to be returned by post)

We do not accept telephone requests for prescriptions.

Please allow 3 working days for your prescription to be prepared. Prescriptions requested after 13:00 on Friday may not be ready until the following Wednesday.

Prescriptions will be sent directly to a pharmacy of your choice, please ensure that you have notified reception of your preferred pharmacy.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
